Custom Buttons on the Action Bar main menu are designed for the user on request. They are typically created to meet government standards including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and Decent Homes Standard.
Each customised button contains its own seperate Action Bar menu. A few of these offered by PocketSurvey are detailed below.
The Stock Action Bar refers to the commonly used Stock Condition survey.
The Property Reports button features a selection of reports that display the property details of the selected records in your database.
Property Reports feature data exclusive to the Top window pane of the Data Manager.
Available reports include Property Summary, Property Detail, Asset Summary, Asset Detail.
The Refurb Analysis button features a selection of cost forecast reports that forecast all of the selected record's future refurbishment costs.
The Refurb Analysis reports on offer are the Property Refurbishments Cost Forecast, Component Refurbishments Cost Forecast, and the Element Refurbishments Cost Forecast.
The Backlog Analysis button features a selection of cost forecast reports that forecast all of the selected record's backlog costs.
The Refurb Analysis reports on offer are the Property Backlog Cost Forecast, Component Backlog Cost Forecast, and the Element Backlog Cost Forecast.
The Asset Forecasts button features a wide selection of asset forecast reports that forecast all of the selected record's future refurbishment costs over a 5, 10 or 30 year time period.
This allows you to produce an instant report informing you of a propery's cost plan over the next 5, 10, or 30 year period.
The Asset Forecast reports on offer are all available as 5, 10 and 30 year reports. they include the Property Refurbishments Cost Forecast, Component Refurbishments Cost Forecast, and the Element Refurbishments Cost Forecast.
The Decency Action Bar refers to the Government Decent Homes Standard that many councils and housing associations need to bring their housing stock up to by 2010.
The Calculate Decency button runs the action that calculates the Decent Homes Standard for the selected properties in your database.
The Decency Reports button offers two different decency reports that both give details of the selected property's decent homes status.
The Decency Summary report informs you of your Decent Home Status and which Decent Homes Standard each property passed or failed on.
The Decency Detail report offers a more thorough breakdown informing you whether each element in the house passed or failed the Decent Homes Standard.
The Decency Analysis button features a number of reports that offer detailed breakdowns and analysis of your property's Decent Homes Status.
An example of this is the Decency Counts menu option. This counts the Decent Homes Status of a property against a user specified field from your survey and creates a cross tabulation report in Excel.
This report is particularly effective at finding correlations between the Decent Homes Status throughout your database. For example you could choose to 'group by' a building type field in your survey and instantly know which type of building failed on which Decent Homes Standard (as pictured below).

The Decency Forecasts button includes a menu of decency related reports that identify Decency pass/fails as well as caculating future Decency costs.
The Decency Forecasts on offer include the Decency Forecast by Category, Decency Criteria Costs Forecast, Property Decency Costs Forecast, and the Component Decency Cost Forecast.
The Government Reports button includes a list of Government Report standards that have been requested by the user. When a report is selected, data from the selected record/s will feature in that government report.
The HHSRS Action Bar refers to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System, the government standard introduced by the Housing Act 2004.
The HHSRS Reports button offers a Housing Health and Safety Rating System report that provides you with a detailed report of the selected property's health and safety rating according to the Government guideline.
The HHSRS Analysis button features a number of reports that offer detailed breakdowns and analysis of your property's Housing Health and Safety Rating.
The Energy Action Bar has been designed to meet the Government approved RDSAP (Reduced Data Standard Assesment Procedure) introduced in .
The Calculate SAP button runs the action that calculates the RD SAP rating for the selected property/s in your database.
The Energy Reports button offers a summary and a detailed breakdown of the selected property's SAP Rating.
The Energy Analysis button features a number of reports that offer detailed breakdowns and analysis of your property's SAP Rating.
An example of this is the Property Energy Running Costs menu option. This calculates and displays the energy running costs for a property. This can be grouped against a user specified field from your survey to create a cross tabulation report in Excel.
