Day 21: Getting Support Getting Support

In the last lesson we asked you to. If you have not done that, go back and do it now before continuing with this lesson.


This lesson will show you how to send and receive files from the PocketSurvey support team.


Now do the following.


    1. Open the survey you used on Day 28 of the tutorial entitled ‘Day 28’.

    2. From the PocketSurvey Toolbar click HELP | SEND TO SUPPORT. This will generate a Webpage form that requests your details so that the support team can help you with your problem. Enter you e-mail address, name and phone number in the relevant areas. From the ISSUE drop down menu select OTHER – SEE DETAILS. Your support query would be detailed in the DETAILS box below. Click the button INFORM THE SUPPORT TEAM.


    1. You will be presented with a SUPPORT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT message. Support requests are typically processed within 24 hours. Close the Webpage. Essentially what you are sending to support is a compressed backup file of your survey with a form detailing your problem and your details.


    1. When your support request has been dealt with the PocketSurvey Support Team will notify you. When you have received this notification you can receive your survey back from support. Click HELP | RECEIVE FROM SUPPORT.
