System Requirements

• A PC suitable for running Windows 98 or above. You can run PocketSurvey on Windows 95 systems (is anybody left using these!) but you must also have also installed the Microsoft HTMLHelp viewer and Internet Explorer. Contact us for details on how to do this - it is easy.
• PocketSurvey does not take up much disk space. However at least 5 megabytes of free disk space is recommended.

Optional Requirements

• ActiveSync. Microsoft ActiveSync is required if you want to connect to your handheld computer.
• Handheld. A suitable handheld computer running Windows CE Version 3 or above such as the iPAQ or Casio. For those without a handheld computer you can use the integrated handheld simulation program on your PC.

Note!

PocketSurvey is a sophisticated survey design and data collection tool using local storage on PocketPCs or Windows PCs. Whilst it has excellent facilities for transmitting collected data back to base via the Internet, the data collection itself is not done with web pages -- it has much more power than the simple web based survey systems!
